"Beautiful spot to just sit back and relax after spending a week in very busy Rome. San Lucido is definitely a “hidden gem” in Calabria. We had both dinner and breakfast in the “sun room”. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Loved everything about our stay."

"This place looked like an old hotel that we probably bumped into this very year in a stepping-stone period towards its becoming a proper boutique hotel (perhaps I will go back next year to double check). As a matter of fact the reception was stunning but once you get in your room you have the feeling of having being trown in some kind of B&B that needs a lot of refurbishing asap. "Antonio and the entire staff are great. I had a very nice room and everything appeared to be new. Very clean and fully equipped. The view of the island of Cirella is spectacular, especially during sunset from the restaurant terrace. I sat there with my beer and just enjoyed the surroundings. My only suggestion is use softer pillows. I found them to be very hard. Loved the staff and breakfast and Calabrese hospitality. I would stay again!"
